At one time, licensed patients can legally possess:

  • Up to 3 oz. (84.9 g) of marijuana on their person
  • 6 mature marijuana plants and the harvested marijuana
  • 6 seedling plants
  • 1 oz. (28.3 g) of concentrated marijuana
  • 8 oz. (226.4 g) of marijuana in your residence
  • 72 oz. (2,037.6 g) of edible marijuana
  • 72 oz. of topical marijuana

Caregiver Info

A medical marijuana caregiver license allows someone designated by a patient – or a minor patient’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) – to help the patient buy, grow, apply, and/or administer medical marijuana. This license is in the form of an identification card to prove someone is a license holder. Oklahoma residents can apply for up to two types of adult patient licenses valid for either two years or 60 days from the issue date, unless the license is revoked by the physician or OMMA. The 60-day adult patient license for in-state residents is referred to as a “short-term” license. Information about the different types of licenses can be found at: Patient Licenses (oklahoma.gov).

Minors under the age of 18 can participate in Oklahoma’s medical marijuana program by registering for a Minor Patient License which allows an Oklahoma resident under the age of 18 to legally possess, use and grow medical marijuana and medical marijuana products in Oklahoma. The online application system will ask for parent/legal guardian information along with the minor’s information.
