Caregiver Laws in Missouri

To qualify as a designated caregiver, applicants will need to apply on behalf of themselves, including all required information, such as a digital photo, proof of Missouri residency and government-issued photo ID. Possession and Cultivation Limits in Missouri

Upon receipt of a patient cultivation identification card. There is an additional $100 fee to grow up to six flowering plants per patient and security regulations must be followed. See Cultivation – Patient/Caregiver & Consumer | Health Services Regulation | Health & Senior Services (mo.gov) for more information.

The qualifying patient’s physician may certify up to six ounces of dried, unprocessed marijuana, or its equivalent, in 30 days. If there is a compelling reason why the qualifying patient needs a greater amount, then the Department requires two independent physician certifications specifying what other amount the qualifying patient needs.
