How much medical marijuana can a patient or caregiver possess at one time?

Under Illinois’s Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act, individuals with valid medical marijuana cards may possess up to 2.5 ounces of usable marijuana over 14 days. How long will it take to get my approval from the MCPP?

Once you submit your application, the Illinois Medical Cannabis Patient Program (MCPP) will review it within 30 days. After your submission is approved, your registry card will be issued within 15 days.
